 Why I Became a Dating Coach - My Personal Journey

 

A decade ago, I was living what seemed like a dream life, traveling the globe in my career. Despite external success, my personal relationships were fraught with anxiety and disappointment. Like many women today, I found myself heartbroken, confused, and desperate to maintain connections that ultimately left me unfulfilled.

 

Then came the gut-wrenching pain. I was about to get married when suddenly—poof—it was over. The devastation was unbearable. I know what it's like to watch your friends go out with their boyfriends while you're stuck at home, feeling invisible. I know the betrayal of believing someone loves you, only to be disrespected. As a woman who's been through that fire, I have zero tolerance for it today.

 

My transformation began when I could barely function. A close friend introduced me to The Rules, a book that initially seemed too simplistic for my complex love life. Yet, as I immersed myself in its wisdom, I experienced a profound shift. I stopped chasing love and started attracting it. 

 

The Rules introduced me to the concept of becoming a "Creature Unlike Any Other" (CUAO)—not changing who I was, but embracing my true worth and refusing to settle. This mindset shift led to men pursuing me with genuine intention and real marriage proposals. More importantly, I gained the confidence to walk away from relationships that weren't right.

My journey inspired me to become a certified Rules Dating Coach through the International Dating Coach Association (I.D.C.A.), complementing my bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Miami. While I maintain a successful pharmaceutical sales career, coaching is my true passion. It's not a side project but a mission to help women break free from the anxiety and confusion of modern dating.
